"Riparia" Association of Naturalists is a non-governmental organization founded in 1999. in Subotica (Serbia). We organize research, field and educational activities related to environmental protection (observing of the nature, in situ biodiversity protection, popularization of natural values, etc). The association has about 150 members, 10 of which are licensed bird ringers.

Main activities:

• Field research work, including ornithological research
• Bird ringing and monitoring of bird migrations
• Active biodiversity protection measures
• Organizing summer research camps
• Organizing lectures, seminars and conferences
• Publishing electronic and printed publications related to environmental protection popularization

There are three departments:

• Department of Research and Protection of Birds
• Department of Bird Ringing
• Department of Hydroecology and Water Protection
